The coast is included among a list of international destinations, with the stand out reminder that “Thanks to a 1967 landmark bill, Oregon is the only state in the nation whose entire coastline is free and public to everyone.”

Beyond our beaches and rugged coastline, the article highlights specific initiatives led by the Oregon Coast Visitors Association. Wheel the World including the Oregon Ocean Cluster’s work to keep our seafood local, Kind Traveler‘s Every Stay Gives Back program, EV travel, and The North Coast Express.

Those of us who live and work here know the Oregon Coast is special for many reasons, and as the Oregon coast Visitors Association, we know that many of those reasons are due to the hard work of the people, businesses, and organizations working to make our coast more accessible, sustainable, and resilient for generations to come.

Congrats, and thank you, to all our partners for making the People’s Coast such an incredible place to visit and live.
